Scrapper's Delights Chibi New Release

It's time for some more new images at Scrapper's Delights. This month's set has a Winter/Christmas theme going on. Here is the card I made to showcase the skating boy.

Materials used:

Scrapper's Delights - Chibi Ice-Skater Boy

We Are 3 - Watercolour Batik 

winter trees acrylic stamps

black archival ink pad

Little B die set - Handwritten

rectangle faux stitched die

silver mirri card

X-Press It card

5" x 7" card blank

Distress Oxides - fosslized amber, warn lipstick, broken china, wilted violet

Copic pens:

skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20

hair - E54, E47, E59

eyes - W1, W3, W5

jeans - B91, B93, B95, B97, B99

shirt - G02, G17, G29, G99     R29, R39, R59, R89

skates - C1, C3, C5, C7

The image has been printed out on X-Press It card with the background paper in place. I used the Distress Oxide inks to ink up the card blank so that it would mimic the mat printed using a paper from the Watercolour Batik set by We Are 3. I thought this paper looked like a frozen pond with a dramatic sunset. I used the curves of the paper to position my trees on and stamped them with black archival ink. At this point I wish I was an artist because in my mind's eye I see a fence which I could have drawn in and maybe some birds flying in to roost in the trees!

The sentiment is die cut from silver mirri card. The stamped up and coloured in image is cut out using a rectangle die.

Go For Green Midway Reminder

It's the halfway point of the Go For Green Challenge at Scribbles Designs.

The green mat is printed from the Satin Fabrics set on printer paper and the card backing from the Watercolor set on Ice Crystal paper. Carl is printed on X-Press It card and coloured with Copics.

The lily is made using the calyx cut from the Multiflower Rose die and coloured with Copics.

I thought I had everything organised this month but yet again I am scrambling about trying to get all the challenges finished. Having a couple of days less in the month has upset the system.
