Ballooning Giraffe

It has been a while since I last entered the Give A Crafter A Cookie Challenge and yet it is one of my favourites so I was determined to rectify the situation. This time around the inspiration cookie has balloons on it and it just so happened that Bugaboo have a giraffe with balloons digi stamp which fits the bill and also will give me an entry into the Bugaboo Challenge as well.



Materials used:Bugaboo Stamps - Balloon Giraffegiraffe animal print digi paper (free from internet)acrylic greeting stampblack archival ink pad
brown and yellow card
DL card blank
X-Press It card
Copic pens

The giraffe image is printed on X-Press It card  with a second print of just the balloons and coloured with Copic pens. The main image has been trimmed to size and a brown pen taken around the edges. The three top balloon from the second image have been fussy cut and then attached ontop of the original image using gel glue.

The front of the card blank has been covered with the giraffe print paper and a brown pen run around the edges. Two strips of the yellow and brown card have been attached to the top and bottom of the image before being attached to the card.

The greeting has been stamped onto the front of the card using black ink.
