Get Well Bear

I am ashamed to say that the beginnings of this post have been in draft form since last May! I think it is best I get on and actually post it, if I can remember how I made it!

Scrapbook Gems - Get Well Hospital Clipart and Papers 
printer paper
X-Press It! card
Copic pens:
fur - E31, E33, E35, E37, E39
nose - E50, E51, E53, E33
shadow on clipboard - C0, C1 

The bear image was added to the clipboard image from the Get Well set and printed as one image. After colouring it was fussy cut and attached to a card blank with the background paper already added.

I have a feeling there may be a couple more 'lost' posts lurking in the drafts section, probably from when I transferred the blog from WordPress. Hopefully I can get them posted soon as well.

The background paper is printed from the Polkadoodles Rosebud Collection and edged with a black pen.

The Gnomes are printed on X-Press It card, coloured with Copics and fussy cut.

Gerda Steiner Progressive Challenge

Another great image from a progressive challenge. I wonder if the cat was reading bedtime stories!

I have used two copies of the image, the first one cut out whole and just the items on the shelf cut out from the second image to decoupage on top so there is some dimension.

The background designer paper is supposed to look a bit like wallpaper.

Spring Bunny Friends

The image for this month's progressive challenge at Gerda Steiner is a cute duo of bunnies.

red embossed card

The designer paper has little pink tulips on it to go with the tulip that the grey bunny is holding, also the red card has an embossed tulip design on it.

I am not sure if the grey bunny is just about to give the tulip away or if she/he has just recieved it and is smelling it. I alway take a good sniff an any flowers I get!

Panda Love at Gerda Steiner

This is the first time I have had a go at the progressive challenge at Gerda Steiner Designs but I could not resist this cute panda.



Materials used: 
Gerda Steiner Designs - Panda In Love  (free if you played in December's challenge)
floral designer paper from stash
silver mirri card
pink card
X-Press It card
Copic pens
sentiment die
heart die
15cm square white card blank

The card and designer paper are layered up as in the photo. The image is coloured in then die cut with a heart die. The sentiment is die cut from a scrap of silver card.

I made the background by colouring it pink then using a cotton bud dipped in colourless blender ink to make the circles.
