I would walk 500 miles!

This is the birthday card I made for my husband. Next month he is going off for five days walking with a couple of friends. They are tackling the Cotswold Way starting at Bath. The background image on my card is the start marker stone in Bath.

Materials used:
X-Press It card
kraft card
dark brown card
5" x 7" card blank
Copic pens:
skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
trousers - BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99
coat - E84, E87, E89
backpack - B91, B93, B95, B97, B99
hat - W1, W3, W5, W7, W9   C5, C7, C9, 100
hair - E35, E37
shirt - B00, B01, B02
map - E40, E41, E42, E43, E44
torch and shoes -  C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, C9
water bottle - C0, C1, C3, C5   BG90, BG93, BG96, BG99
compass - C0, C1, C3, C5  Blender
ground - E41, E43, E44, E47

The Cotswold Way marker stone is printed onto card, cut out and used as the background. The image has been coloured in then cut out with a narrow white border before attaching to the front of the card.

Tim and his friends are not actually walking 500 miles but they are planning to cover quite a lot of ground in the five days. Hopefully the weather will be as good as it has been in previous years when they have embarked on other long distance walks. As my walking days are over now I get almost a week to play without having to stop to cook meals or do housework. I am planning on getting quite a lot of projects off the ground. Fun time ahead for all!

Thanks for dropping in. Take care.

Pippa
