Scribbles Designs 4th Birthday Bonanza Challenge & Blog Hop

I was thrilled a few weeks ago to be invited to join the team at Scribbles Designs as a guest designer. To add to the fun my first post is part of a blog hop to celebrate Scribbles Designs 4th Birthday.
Scribbles Designs is celebrating its 4th birthday this month and we're kicking off our celebration with a combined Challenge AND Blog Hop!

If you are arriving here from Nick's blog, then you are right on track! If you are just starting, you can find a full list of all the stops at the bottom of this post.So blow up some birthday balloons and hang some streamers, it is time for the Birthday Bonanza to begin!!!

Throughout the hop you will see projects created by all the Scribbles Designs Team Members AND our two current Guest Scribblers. Comment at each stop along the hop for your chance to win one of the images used in that particular Scribbler's project.
You'll have until Sunday, January 22, 2017, at 11:59 p.m., to submit your comments.
Also, as this is our regular monthly challenge be sure to add your birthday cards to the

Challenge #49-Birthday Bonanza link up on the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog.

Along with all of our regular prizes, we have some extra special ones in honour

of our birthday this month. Be sure to click HERE for all the info and details you need!

For my stop along the hop, I am excited to share a project I created using the following images...

Don't forget, one lucky person leaving a comment on my blog
will have the opportunity to win Birthday Wishes Border for free!!!

Check out what I made:

The two images have been sized and positioned to make the topper then printed out on X-Press It card and coloured in with Copic pens.

The coloured image has been trimmed and a black pen taken around the edges, then matted and layered on orange and blue card before being attached to a 15cm square card blank.

Next stop on our birthday train is Suze's blog. Click HERE to head on over!

If you miss any of the stops along the way, here is the complete list. You are definitely going to want to check out what my fellow team members have in store for you:

  2. Wonderful card Pippa. I love that your matting layers are bright and bold and match the colours you used for Brrr. Your images are coloured beautifully as always. The cake and the cake slice look good enough to eat!!! I had actually planned on making my card almost exactly like yours--same layout and same idea with the matting but I didn't want people to think they were seeing double. Though my colouring would never be as good as yours so I'd have ended up looking like a pale copy next to you. :)

I'm so very pleased that you are able to join us as a guest during our first quarter in 2017. It is delightful to have you here and I look forward to seeing more of your lovely work.
