Photo Inspiration at Bugaboo

This week the challenge at Catch the Bug is a photo inspiration. Here in the UK we certainly need our umberellas at the moment for snow in the North and rain in the South West. Needless to say I am in the South West with not even a hint of snow, just rain, rain, rain and more rain!

Materials used:Bugaboo Digi Stamps - April Word
X-Press It card
Copic pens
silver pen
pearlescent paper
flower and leave die
flat-backed gem

The wording on the right has been added on the computer before printing out with the image in place.

The little flower is made using Britannia dies and a pearl added in the  middle.

The silver border is added with a silver pen.

Time to confess, the flower is covering a gold splodge that got accidentally picked up on the card which is why it is in a strange place!

I hope you will be able to join in the fun at Catch the Bug this week. Thanks for dropping in. Take care.

  1. Cute card. So beautifully coloured and bright. Unfortunately, our definition of one layer cards is ‘one piece of card folded in half with no additional layers...’ including stickers, die cuts, washi tape, etc., so it looks like

  2. Oops, I don’t know what happened to the rest of my comment...
So by printing your image on a separate panel and adding the flower, it no longer qualifies as a one layer card. We also have a maximum of 5 challenge link ups including ours and it looks like you’ve exceeded it. Thank you for sharing this with us at Less is More.
