It's the first of the month and time for the start of the second Love to Craft Challenge. I hope that if you joined in last month you will do so again and that if you didn't you might like to have a go this month.
The theme is always 'Anything Goes' and each challenge runs until the last day of the month so there is plenty of time to get an entry in. As this is a general crafting challenge you can enter with any craft at all, from card making to crochet, scrapbooking to sewing, in fact anything!
This month I have made up a scrapbook 12x12 page of all the items I made for my daughters wedding which took place on the 27th August.
Materials used:
Dragons Lair Designs - Wedding Dreams Mini Kit
Little Claire Designs - Hiking Signpost
Little Claire Designs - Hiking Boots
Tonic Studios Die - Advent Treat Squeeze Box Set
Colour Copy white card
Copic pens
blue paper wood rose buds
white and green 'sprigs'
blue ribbon
blue card
old road atlas
cake boards
old hiking boots
All the images have been coloured with Copics and for each different item the wording on the signpost has been altered to suit it; the invites say 'To the wedding', the order of service says 'The Service' and the place name cards say 'Richard and Rachel' with the date of the wedding underneath.
The very happy couple!
I do hope you will come and join us, we welcome all kinds of handmade projects – from cards, tags, ATCs and scrapbook layouts to 3-D projects, mixed media canvases and altered projects – and even knitting, crocheting and jewelry! We want to see whatever you’re working on!
You may enter up to five different projects and combine our challenges with as many other challenges as you’d like! Winners and Top Picks are chosen by our design team and announced on the 10th of the month following the close of the challenge!
As an added incentive, should you need it, there will be a giveaway when we reach our first milestone of 100 followers.
We can’t wait to see what you create! Hope to see you there.
Thanks for dropping in. Take care.
