Dragons Lair Designs May Challenge

This month the theme for the monthly Dragons Lair Designs challenge is: Women at Work. Here is my sample.

Materials used:SAM_2839(watermarked)
Dragons Lair Designs - Lost and Found Treasures
Janette Padley (Designer at Dragons Lair Designs) - Framed Sewing Theme Digi Stamp
printer card
Copic pens
printer paper
X-Press It card
clear gem

Having decided on the style and size of the card I wanted to make I printed out all the elements I needed.

The main image is coloured with Copic pens.

The accents are fussy cut print outs from the Lost and Found Treasures set.

SAM_2840(watermarked)The insert has an image from the Lost and Found Treasures set with the shape faded out for writing the greeting on.

I also made a matching envelope.SAM_2841(watermarked)

While I was making this card it occured to me that it would also make a fantastic front on a boasting book for someone who is into needlecrafts to put photographs of their creations in. I feel a future Christmas present project coming on!

I hope that you will come along and join in the fun at Dragons Lair Designs. The challenge is open for a whole month so you have plenty of time to come up with an entry.
